A quarrel started in a condominium over a barbecue, it was an old grievances and resentments between neighbors: these are the circumstances that led to stabbing of a woman by the neighbor. And the woman is now in critical condition after having received two stab wounds in her intestine and her neighbor is under arrest on charges of attempted murder.
Bothered by the smoke of chops and ribs rising from the ground floor of his apartment, the man, an unemployed 52 year old Calabrian, shouted insults and launched on the barbecue a bucket of water. When the woman and her 17 year old son knocked on his door to ask for explanations, he hit the woman with two swipes perforandole the gut, then he hurts his son with a knife under the armpit because ''he was put in the middle."
The woman, 45 years old, is hospitalized in critical condition in the emergency room of the San Martino di Genova. The son instead heal in about ten days. The neighbor, who was arrested, is charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm. The man, who suffered injuries heal within about three weeks, is now in prison in Marassi. In the next hours he will be subjected to questioning validation before the investigating judge. The police have heard the wounded boy who confirmed the dynamics of what happened:
"We had decided to have a barbecue to celebrate the bridge - he explained - at some point the neighbor started screaming and pulled us a bucket of water. We went to ask for an explanation with my mother and he, who had a knife in his hand, he attacked and injured. " The sister of the young man confirmed that there had been close with the bickering, "even though they had always been resolved." The stabber explained that he had "the house filled with smoke" accusing neighbors of trying 'to drag him out of the house. " "I had to defend," he said. The police have seized three knives. Among these would be the weapon used to hit the two neighbors.
